We are a network of women athletes who walk, run, bike, swim, and socialize – and who love to try new things. You will find someone to run with at 5:30 am or swim with at 5:30 pm.
We welcome new faces – you don’t have to be a member to see what we’re all about – but we ask that you drop us a note at email@example.com so that we can have someone on hand to greet you.
Saturday Group Walk/Runs
Come walk or run with us. We’ve been out running at Forest Park, Ashley Reservoir, Ludlow Reservoir and the Southwick Rail Trail. Contact us and we’ll let you know where we’re going to be!
Fun Runs, hosted by members, are held on some Sunday mornings and Sunday afternoons, and are usually followed by refreshments. Members will be notified by email with the date, time, and location. Please check the weekly member newsletter or closed Facebook page for details!
Walk to Run Clinics
We offer a 10-week walk-to-run clinic that will train you to run non-stop for 30 minutes. Your first 5K is just around the corner! The clinic usually begins in early Spring, but check the website or Facebook page for an announcement with specific dates.
The Club has General meetings three or four times a year, with Club business discussed, sometimes followed by a speaker of interest. The Annual Meeting, held in June, also celebrates graduates of the spring walk to run clinic and the recipient of the high school scholarship. Meeting location and speaker info is e-mailed to Club members prior.
